Whether it's subtle or in-your-face, design with a cause can change things. Take a look at Neshan, a professional and educational magazine — making efforts to facilitate closer ties between designers in Iran, Asia, and the world.

“The majority of the world’s designers focus all their efforts on developing products and services exclusively for the richest 10% of the world’s customers. Nothing less than a revolution in design is needed to reach the other 90%.”
—Dr. Paul Polak, International Development Enterprises
Check out this amazing project headed up by Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum to reach the other 90%.

San Francisco based designer, Richard Perez, has helped rebrand Jell-o as a lively dessert for a new generation. The result is a much more vibrant, playful, and energetic brand. While not relying solely on nostalgia, the solution does carry on the tradition of the advertising character from the 60's and 70's.

A friend of Tenfold ordered some music from CD baby and got this confirmation email...
Thanks for your order with CD Baby!
Your CDs have been gently taken from our CD Baby shelves with sterilized contamination-free gloves and placed onto a satin pillow. A team of 50 employees inspected your CDs and polished them to make sure they were in the best possible condition before mailing. Our packing specialist from Japan lit a candle and a hush fell over the crowd as he put your CDs into the finest gold-lined box that money can buy. We all had a wonderful celebration afterwards and the whole party marched down the street to the post office where the entire town of Portland waved "Bon Voyage!" to your package, on its way to you, in our private CD Baby jet on this day, Wednesday, June 3rd.
I hope you had a wonderful time shopping at CD Baby. We sure did. Your picture is on our wall as "Customer of the Year." We're all exhausted but can't wait for you to come back to CDBABY.COM!!
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Sigh...
